The Structure Of Freemasonry And It’s Concordant OrganizationsReceiving the first three degrees in Freemasonry, (Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason) makes a man a Mason and no other degrees can make him more of a Mason. There are however, some appendant organizations such as the Scottish Rite, the York Rite, and Shrine which offer more “degrees” that a Master Mason may receive. These degrees only enhance the understanding of the first three degrees and offer additional teachings in the historical roots of Freemasonry.
